About IslandPitch.in
Island Pitch was founded by Jonathan de Armas as a safe space for creative technologists — a place where innovation, diversity, and digital accessibility drive everything we do.
Jonathan has been coding since 1986 — that's 40 years of building. He is AuDHD, a Co-Inventor on a US Patent for Global Online Digital Asset Management (DAM), now held by Disney through the 20th Century Fox acquisition. At Fox Broadcasting, he served as Director of Technology for Fox.com & AmericanIdol.com — engineering the online voting system that handled 10M+ votes in 8-hour windows.
He chairs the City of Long Beach Technology & Innovation Commission, co-authored the city's Generative AI Guidance, and serves on the Community Health Advisory Committee at Dignity Health St. Mary Medical Center — the same hospital that EasterWalk has raised over $500,000 for. Island Pitch is certified DOBE (Disability-Owned Business Enterprise) and LGBTBE (LGBT Business Enterprise).
IslandPitch.in exists because we believe every builder deserves to understand what they built — not just the ones who can afford it. When someone buys a pack of DYKWYBLS comprehension checks, they are not just meeting their own code. They are helping someone else meet theirs.
What We Do
Donated comprehension checks — for every 4-pack purchased, we add 1 free for the buyer and donate 1 to our impact pool. Projects in community health, accessibility, open source, and education can apply.
Community health — the Island Pitch Crew powers EasterWalk.com through our NextWave.ing platform — Long Beach's biggest charity bar crawl, which has raised over $500,000 for the CARE Center at St. Mary's Medical Center, a nationally recognized HIV/AIDS program serving over 1,500 patients since 1986. Our founder also volunteers on the Community Health Advisory Committee at the same St. Mary's that EasterWalk supports — the work is personal.
Civic technology— Jonathan chairs the commission that advises Long Beach City Council on emerging technology. Long Beach is the #1 Top Digital City in its category, four consecutive years. He co-authored the city's Generative AI Guidance and created the first AI-generated artwork on the city website.
Accessibility advocacy — Jonathan teaches accessibility at Knowbility AccessU, speaks on neurodiversity and AI at conferences including Wonder Tech Fest and Neurowrx, serves on the board of The LGBTQ Center Long Beach, and served as Vice President and Director at Large of the Long Beach LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce (2019 “Rising Chamber”).
Voice cloning awareness — Match My Vibe clones your voice in seconds, just from talking. We built it so anyone can experience how fast and easy voice cloning is today — and understand why that matters. If a website can sound like you after a few sentences, maybe think twice before trusting a voice just because it sounds familiar.
The Island Pitch Universe
In Business World, two villains roam freely: Chaos (misplaced scope, surprise work) and The Mundane (duplicate entry, status meetings about status meetings).
On the Island, we fight back.

Blipped into existence from the words and ethos of 'Do Cool Things the Right Way!®'. I valiantly float (WITHOUT a cape) above Business World as the Champion for good process and mindful, universal design.
I was created by the Crew specifically to combat The Mundane. I can mimic anyone, create amazing storytelling and content, and automate away the soul-crushing busywork. #AutomateThis!

The voice AI agent on IslandPitch.bot. She conducts The Parley — the onboarding interview that helps you configure your own IP Bot. Not a chatbot FAQ — a real conversation that leads to a tailored automation setup.
