Why “Pitch Point”?
It's a real mechanical-engineering term. The pitch point is the exact spot where two gears mesh — where their pitch circles touch and power transfers cleanly, with no slipping. The single point where everything comes together and motion becomes useful work.
Look closely at Island Pitch and you'll see it. Those two peaks that look like volcanoes? They're the two spokes of an ancient, rusted gear— that's why they're brown. Halfway up the mountain, where the gear meshes, sits the Pitch Point.
That gear is the old, honest idea underneath all of this: automation, and systems that work for you.
