The Fellowship of the Pitch
A café, a clinic, a queer chamber, and a city clerk discover they're fighting the same two villains — and win together.
Stronger Together — in the tradition of Aesop's bundle of sticks and the fellowship on the road
Four travelers, lost in the same grey fog. A café owner. A clinic nurse. A chamber organizer. A city clerk.
We've never met. What could a café and a city hall possibly have in common?
In the fog, two old villains schemed to keep it that way.
Divide them. A shop, a clinic, a chamber, a city hall — they'll never see they're fighting me together. One stick snaps so easily.
And I'll keep each of them too busy and too tired to notice. Alone, they're easy. Never let them gather into a bundle.
A horn cut the fog. Captain Marisol gathered the four at the harbor.
Listen, crew. Your tools differ. Your villains don't. Chaos hunts every open door. The Mundane lulls every one of you to sleep.
The café's lock-in, the clinic's lost backup, the chamber's leaked list, the city's locked-out residents — same two enemies, four disguises.
The four traded stories and went pale — they'd each survived the same fight, alone.

You're all running from the same playbook of trouble. So fight back with the same playbook of fixes.
Masked Crewsader drew the map in the sand: one bridge, many travelers.

Universal design for everybody, across all things. When the chamber locks its vault, the city's data is safer. When the café builds the bridge, the clinic's patients can cross it too.
One stick snaps; a bundle holds. Protect one, and you protect the whole archipelago. We rise together.
IP Bot handed each of them the same checklist — tuned to their world.

Choose tech on purpose. Lock the doors. Guard the list. Build the bridge. Keep a human on the wheel. Same five moves, every sector. #AutomateThis!
The four linked arms and stepped forward. Chaos and The Mundane recoiled from the light.
No — they're comparing notes! They're helping each OTHER!
Quick — make something feel urgent and boring again—
Too late. They've seen the map.
Together, the fellowship walked out of Business World — and the fog finally lifted.

For-profit, nonprofit, citizen, city — one archipelago, one bridge. Do cool things the right way, and everyone reaches their pitch.
The lesson
Every sector faces the same two villains and shares the same five moves: choose tech on purpose, lock the doors, guard the list, build the bridge, keep a human on the wheel. Universal design protects all of us at once — when one traveler is safer, the whole archipelago is.
